If he can be healed from a crippling injury on the island, I am sure a little bullet to the chest won't be an issue.

Lost makes me feel lost. I don't even know how to begin a conversation about the crazy show! I love it and I'm totally addicted to it, but I don't understand what's going on at all!

My friend Julie, from work, sent this response to an email i sent her regarding LOST and I always enjoy hearing her thoughts so I thought I would post it here on my comments...

Stupid Ben, he's such a power hungry putz. I think that the island will heal Locke quickly if they can get the bullet out of him (like that woman who ejected out of the helicopter and was pierced by the tree and majically healed). I wonder why it heals some people, but not others? That Jacob scene was really creepy, a la Blair Witch. What's with the voodoo sand around the his house? From the movies I've seen, it's used to keep those out who mean you harm. And when I saw the that guy in the forest, I was thinking, WTH. And if he met Ben when he was a kid, why does he let Ben boss him around? I think that they've traveled through a portal to a parrell universe. Also, I was looking the net (ha-"net", I'm stuck in the early 90's) and found "eggs," as in hidden clues in the show that people way more into the show than even me freeze frame scenes. When Ben showed Juliette the medical file for her sister (the one with all the graphs and charts showing the cancer had been cured), Juliette did not notice that the top of the file stated that it was for 187 lb male patient. That Ben is such a liar. BTW, is it me, or does everyone on the island seems to have daddy issues? I wonder if that is relevant.
if you watch in slo-mo you can see Jacob. I think it some kind of tear in dimensions or time-space.

we were wondering why Richard hadn't aged but Ben had.
