Yard Sale Extraviganza
Hey it's Jimmy writing this new entry. I wanted to let you know that we are having a yard sale on June 23 with a very big purpose. As some of you know Stephanie's Aunt and Uncle who have been missionaries in Australia are returning to the USA in mid July. They need to raise money to get back to their homeland.
This brings me to my reason behind the yard sale. I want to put on a yard sale and have all of the money go to them. If you are interested in donating items let me know.

We have a name!!!
As most of you know, we have been going back and forth with a name for our little man! We debated on if his name needs to start with an H, will he feel left out... bla bla bla... I finally got sick of even thinking of a name that I went to my computer on Friday and decided to take my mind off of names and catch up on peoples blogs... I went to my friend Leah's blog where she had an entry on the process her and her husband went in naming their boy. (note.. I had read this entry before and was not looking to read ANYTHING that had to do with naming a kid...) After reading it, an amazing amount of peace went threw me ... I took a look at the list of names Jim and I had made and started thinking, "If this was our first child, would these names still be on our list?" Meaning... if it wasn't for this H thing would I even consider the H names on our list... answer... NO. I called Jim and asked him the same thing and he answered, no. Feeling this huge amount of weight lifted off my shoulders, I felt like I had gotten somewhere. Jim and I spent the weekend praying over the names and not talking about them. Yesterday we got in the car for church and we both told each other which name we felt the Lord was pressing on us. It happened to be the same name, and again, just peace fell over the two of us. We feel really good about our final choice. His name is going to be Jonah Brian. Jonah means, peacemaker... He has the same initials as Jim :).
The above picture has nothing to do with this entry, it was just a cute picture! Hunter fell asleep on the couch and Haley brought over animals for him to cuddle with and covered him with a blanket. She is very sweet!

Bugs and Weenies
Haley went to her first dentist appointment. The dentist was very impressed with her very clean teeth. In the process of getting her teeth cleaned, the lady told her about sugar bugs and how they live in sugar. That when you eat sugar, these sugar bugs come out and dig holes in your teeth and then that turns your teeth black. (this is how Haley explains it) So what? Awesome right? My daughter doesn't want to eat sugar! For the most part that is awesome and we all want to have our child like that right? She is OBSESSED with sugar bugs!!! "Does watermelon have sugar?"... "Does Jelly have sugar?"... "Does milk have sugar?" ... "Does toast?" EVERY item of food she is eating, she asks if there is sugar. If there is, she WILL NOT eat it :) Or she will eat it and then brush the heck out of her teeth.
I am proud of her, that she wants a clean mouth, but I really don't want my four year old (who really doesn't eat a lot of candy, if any) getting UPSET over the sugar bugs. AND to top it off... she has had her brother in TEARS over the bugs.
Hunter and his little kid weenie (that is what he calls his beanie!). He calls it the little kid weenie. He came running to me this morning asking if I had a little kid weenie... It took me a second to figure out what he was really asking for, I wasn't fully awake! Ah... the awesome names our kids create for things! I actually love their innocence and how cute they are... they make me laugh! Hunter is one of the funniest kiddos I know!

Things in May
In late April, Chika and her husband came over for a quick visit! She is due in July and looks great! it was very nice to get a chance to visit with her! Haley remebers when she use to live with us! We love Chika and loved being able to catch up. She now lives with her husband in Japan.
Our little boy's theme for his room :) - jungle safari! The room was Haley's and was Barney purple. Mindi came over last week and helped us paint the room tan and brown. Mindi's the best... thanks Mind!
And yes, we STILL do not have a name :)

I went on a date with myself!
I am Rachel Greene.
For those of you who are true Friends watchers, you will remember the episode were Rachel goes on a date with herself. That was me tonight. Jim did a video thing for the Flipside (our church) - something to do with Mother's Day, so I could not be there. I had to leave... Darn it :) I had THREE hours to myself. I went and ate by myself, (played Suduko and people-watched while eating), I got a pedicure and leg massage... it was a great date!!! The funny thing was, I was so totally happy to be in SILENCE! Even in the car, on the way, I drove in silence. I didn't mean too, I didn't even realize I had the radio off till I got home :)
I am thinking a second date will follow :)
I am a big nerd.
Thanks Darlene... I love you :)
