A week or so ago, Jonah and I got together with some friends from High School. The above picture is my friend Erin and her two boys Jacob and Caden. I think I need a new pair of jeans :). Actually, those are my favorite jeans... it is like wear sweats! :) They are old Express jeans...

MORE BIRTHDAYS!!!

October brought MORE birthday fun for our family. My Grandma Lembke had a birthday...

2004 KZ Frontier Travel Trailer FOR SALE!!!!

FOR SALE... 1984 Suburban

Jim and I need to sell our Suburban and our travel trailer (pictures still to come). Our Trailer is 25 ft with a 5 foot pullout. It is a 2004 Frontier by KZ. It has a kid room in it, with two bunk beds (sleeps four). The five foot pop out is a queen bed. Both the sofa and table make into a bed as well. There is a full bathroom and kitchen. The stove has been used once :). The trailer is in good condition, we haven't used it much.
We are asking $13600.

Our Suburban was my grandparents. It has 134ooo miles. My grandpa had the engine completely re-done and got a new paint job. He took GREAT care of this car! Inside is in great condition (for its age). We have had it for a year and Jim used it mostly to drive 7 miles to work everyday. It has a 7.4 liter engine. (I don't know what that means).

We are asking $3500 OBO.

Awards!

Both Haley and Gracie got class awards for the month of September. They are both in the first group of four kids to get class awards (out of almost 30 kids)! Haley's award was called the PAW award... Positive all-around worker award. Her teacher made a poem out of her name explaining why she got the award. She basically said that Haley is super positive and always has a smile on her face... that she is positive in anything she is asked to do.

This is Haley on Wednesday... The Smart's had given this dress to Haley and anything the Smart's give us is special :) so Haley had to wear it on her birthday!

Hay Hay Turns FIVE

Yesterday was Haley's fifth birthday!!! She went on a date with her dad last night. She was so cute... she came out with two dresses, held them up and asked me, "Mom, which dress should I wear on my date with daddy?" She was so excited. He took her to get ice cream. They were on their way to get their ice cream when they got stopped by someone who works for Picture People. The person asked Jimmy if they could take Haley's picture for free and they would give her a free portrait. Of course Jim said yes, he knew if he passed up this opportunity I would beat him up :). They took 38 pictures of her. Jim let her pick which one she wanted... This is the picture she picked.

I can't believe she is five... I watched her in her classroom yesterday after they sung happy birthday to her. She is so well behaved! She is so quiet and reserved... she gets that from her mom :)

Birthday Season!!!

This month is FULL of birthdays for us!!! On top of a lot of friends who have birthdays... we also have close family members with birthdaysJimmy's brother, Len... turned 37!

Jimmy's dad, Bud, turned 65.

Jimmy's grandma, Ruth, (the kids know her as GG) turned 82!
And on Wednesday we have Haley's 5th birthday!!!

Adjusting to Baby Jonah

I wasnt sure how my kids were going to adjust to having a baby in the house... so far so good! They love him!!! Me, personally... I am having a way easier time adjusting to three then I did to two! Hunter story number 1...
When he came to visit Jonah and me in the hospital he came into the room and went right to Jonah, then turns to me and we had this conversation:
Hunter: Mommy, baby Jonah is here!
me: yep... he is
Hunter: I want to see your tummy
Me: ok...
Hunter: Are you having another baby Jonah?
I was not offended!! I thought it was funny!!! In case you aren't familiar with post baby belly, right after you have a baby, your tummy doesn't go flat right away... you tend to go home looking about 4 months pregnant...Hunter story #2....
He likes to be "helpful" He tries to share with Jonah...
- he has tried to give him fishy crackers (Baby Jonah was hungry)
- he found an empty play bottle and tried to feed it to him
- Hunter loves to have stuffed animals cover his whole body... so he did that to Jonah, so proudly.
He truly wants to play with him and he does these things with such a pure heart, but I do have to keep my eyes on him :)
Haley is very helpful! She goes and gets me diapers (she is to young to change a diaper... darn it) she will get me lots of things when I am feeding him. She loves her baby brother a LOT.
I know this isn't the most attractive picture of me, but that isn't why it is here... This morning, after a VERY long night, both older kids got up and crawled into bed with me. I had fed Jonah at 5am, and fell asleep with him on my chest. It is sweet to cuddle with all three of my kiddos in bed!

Kindergarten here we come!

Today Haley started kindergarten! I can't believe she is that old! She was so excited!!! She had a blast!

Haley is in the same class as her good friend Gracie!This is her with her teacher, Mrs. Gilfrey! Hunter had his first day of preschool today! Jim and I were both nervous as to how he would handle going there without us staying. He cries when we drop him off at church. When we dropped him off, his teacher was so great... she came right up to him and made him so welcomed! She found him a tool puzzle to work on and he was in Heaven!

And I have to include a picture of Jonah! He is doing so good. Both Haley and Hunter are transitioning so well with him! They love him ...

Can you believe his hair? I guess Carrie was right... heart burn does = hair :)
